Creative Writing Institute’s goal is to escort its students from their present level of learning to their highest individual potential.

We present professional material in such a way that every student can understand and profit by it.
We use talented mentors to personally escort each student through the maze of rules and procedures of writing.
We evaluate the students at the end of their course and recommend the next best move on their ladder of learning.

Our students will range from ages 14 to 80 something. We would especially like to reach the middle-aged to older folks who would dare to realize their writing dream. That’s what we do at Creative Writing Institute – we grant dreams – but first the individual must reach for it.

One of the comments I hear most is, “I’m too old to learn,” or “I can’t remember things like I used to.” Due to a medical problem, I have no short-term memory, but I continue to take classes, at nearly 70 years of age. I will always take classes. Although I don’t consciously absorb a lot and I have no instant recall, somehow a portion sinks in sub-consciously, and eventually finds it way out through my fingers. This proves that you don’t have to remember everything consciously. If I can do it, you can, too.

Some want to write as a hobby. Some want to write for a few extra bucks. Some want to write stories and novels, to make a living doing what they love best. I have one message for all of you – if you will step out and reach for what you want, we will help you get it. You CAN do it. Don’t you believe otherwise!

At Creative Writing Institute, you will find an affordable school that is personable, attainable, and especially tailored to you and your needs. You won’t be a number to us.
